STM are imploding and they have started with the gaffer. This is what happens when you try to run before you can walk!! If their striker leaves they are doomed.

Hope they do implode but think they will have enough to be in the promotion mix at the end of the season

I’m on a Vog-rant as you can see...What on earth is going on with all these recent managerial comings and goings for petes sake? ? The only appointment that doesn’t surprise anybody in the slightest is Punt Talbet Clown installing a recently convicted fraudster with a serious gambling problem as their new manager. If ever there was a perfect match made in heaven or should I say a match fixed in Ladbrookes then this is it - but at least it proves that PTT are trying to improve their image lol. Apparently Peter Sutcliffe gave a great interview for the job but was just edged out only due to his reluctance to move to PT from his Broadmoor residence. Anyway onto to the merry go round with Jenks leaving Ely Rangers, Nana walking on his own accord from Caerau, Taffs Well playing musical chairs with themselves and Caerau - and now high flying STM Sports surprisingly showing their manager Gareth Morgan the cage door. Internet magazine Clwb Pel-Droed (a great addition to the webs) reported that STM Sports have declined to comment on the event but amazingly the reason for sacking is rumoured to be down to performances. Are STM Sports trying to model themselves on Chelsea or Real Madrid for petes sake lol Or Maybe they are looking at the league table upside down. In fairness to Gareth Morgan the table never lies and I’d say that there’s 13 or 14 teams in the 2nd division (and 1 or 2 doomed div 1 teams) that would pay good money to swap league placings with STM at this moment in time. Not forgetting also the 16 teams in the dix3 that would love to swap places with them ! It’s madness and it seems like everyone involved in these managerial mayhem events have been smoking the aromatic embassys or made a New Years resolution to wreak havoc at their clubs. The blubbering hierarchy at a good few Welsh League clubs need to get stocked up with some extra strong smelling salts for themselves or take up a different hobby that doesn’t involve a round ball and grass or having to think for themselves . We’ve gone up into the Prem this season and haven’t set it alight but Gavin is doing an unbelievable job in keeping us where we are now and managing expectation in our first season back in a tough league. The building process and learning curve is going along nicely. It’s called progress. No panic or drama. Knee jerk decisions seems to be a trend in the Welsh League at the moment. Some clubs need to get real and be thankful for where they are who they’ve got and remember exactly who they are !!!! My pinkies are hurting and it’s time to clock off so cheerio for now.

I am fascinated by all these managerial goings on.
Appointing Cortez Belle (a convicted fraudster and gambling addict) to Punt Talbot is laughable. I feel for the poor fans!
Baah abandoning the mess that is caerau ely to be JOINT manager with bridgeman is crazy and I can't see how it would work.
As for STM there has to be something more to it than results? 3rd in the league! Maybe one of their committee or players can enlighten us?

My guess is that they are not happy at losing to lower league clubs in all 3 cups. Maybe they need the cup runs to fund them as I have no idea how they finance themselves. They should be playing ponty for a place in the last eight of the Welsh cup and this loss of money might of been a factor. Hopefully they will lose a few players when Morgan gets his next club.

Nana Baah has stated on Twitter that he did not leave Caerau Ely of his own accord. Here’s true post.
“All these positives and lots more have been achieved over my 6 years and to suggest I abandoned my young team at the time they needed me most really hurts.
I did ‘NOT’ resign as manager of Caerau Ely but in fact relieved of duty.”

I stand corrected. It didn’t quite ring true that Nana would walk so it’s good for him to have clarity. He did a fabulous job at Caerau and gave them their finest hour. Just wanted to join the conversation and say thanks to everyone on the board who have been supportive and the others who I have loved having banter with. Its been an honour and pleasure to manage a team I love and Ely Rangers is now in very good hands as Graham Cummings takes over. Its been a challenging time, but I would like to think we now have a structure and system that can pull away from the bottom end of the table and start to build for the future. Our Youth set up and the people who work within it are a credit and it is already producing gems. Vodog thanks for the kind words and I look forward having many more conversations on this board. Regards Julian

Credit where credits due jenko, you did well at rangers with the structure and raising the profile of the Club,it's unfortunate that results didn't go your way but at least you can be remembered for the good things done at the Club,It's a shame you've stepped down but wish you good luck going forward,👏👏👏
