I would like to thank Tredegar for gratis acess this week......cheers Kim. Only cash strapped Ponty charged me so far, guy on the gate was like a Big Issue seller. I know it's not a lot,but it is an extra pint after the game.

Here we go again, are we to assume that the games away to Grange Quins and UWIC also gave you free admision and they were not like Big Issue sellers. Unfortunately some people are unable to get work so do that job to get some money in their pockets.

fairplay, seems like I've touched a nerve.I hold no grudges with BI sellers myself, but barely had we parked up and yer man wanted our lucre. And yes Poirot the teams you mentioned were more hospitable in this matter. All the best for the rest of the season young man, except Dec 17th of course cheers mishman.

My late pops was wheelchair bound for the last few years of his life and was only charged twice in about 3 years, once at Goytre United and the other at Barry Town. He never once tried gaining free access but was instantly waived in with a smile. He was always the first to put his hand in his pocket for the fund raiser afterwards though.People in that situation are less fortunate than able bodied and it just seems the human thing to .As for mishman affording a pint I think what he's intimating is that the the odd luxury of an extra pint was down to the host team and he's stating his thanks.Every man deserves a pint after a game regardless of financial situations,

Of course, if I had known it was Mishman I would have charged him double! Disabled supporters often have a restricted view, especially at Div 3 grounds, and the least we can do is give them the support they give their own clubs every Saturday. When I was at the FAW we allowed disabled fans in free of charge (their carers paid). I hope they still do.
