nige, it may have been a tad longer than one full season but no more than 1.5 seasons, but whatever it seems he has been doing really well at llanwern and in fact kept them up last year with about 10 goals in their last 8 or 9 games; good on him too

Knowing the calibre of Llanwerns players as I do for example, Simon Truman,Wayne Morley, Tom Hooper and Marcus Power I find it very hard to believe that Llanwern don't play some decent football. Looking forward to the battle between the Tigers and Wern hopefully we can both be in top three come end of season.

Here is somthing that was said in the Aberaman thread, that i thought certain newly promoted clubs should think about..... But on the flip side, aberaman are a prime example of what happens when you start paying to bring in the big timers - you will never get the local boys back to how it was before they were 'replaced'

Concerned thank you for your post I can only speak on the behalf of undy but out of the side that played against Uwic on sat only 3 players in the squad havent played for the club before this season. Some of the quotes I hear about what Undy players are being paid or recieving ' benefits' are laughable and started by officials/players/fans from clubs who should concentrate on their own club. Ive played against Aberaman for many seasons and they have always brought in players on high wages there lucky that the club can do it hence the sucess under Dai Morgan. Money doesnt always bring loyalty I played in the Newport ym side that got to the Welsh cup semi finals and finished fifth in the first division where none of our players were getting paid but we had a close knit team that just loved the playing and banter of the game.

Breadlegs or should I say "Steve".Listen I know fact that you amongst others are recieving payments for playing for Undy.Ok I do not know exactly how much but you do also get "benefits". Deny it all you want but I know fact.
Its no biggy to anyone its just the denial fact that people start to slate teams.
So get real admit you get paid and everyone can move on. Oh and by the way all the best for the season !!

Derek at what point in my post did I deny recieving payment I laughed at the amounts some people are talking about and in what terms, and it shouldn't take inspector morse to make the connection between my user name! more people know me as bready/breadlegs/teddy than Steven hence why I use it as for yours I'm not sure hide behind it if you like

Derek whoever you are still aware I have not received a payment for any game I have received a polo shirt and further kit coming this week free of charge something I never received at previous club Caldicot. I have received plenty of drinks at the bars of our a opponents and at theatre of dreams at the causeway just ask the mrs and she will tell you I've been taking full advantage of that along with the others as for the other members of the ram you will have to ask them, I believe there on the same boat I haven't seen any brown envelopes flying around like I have at some places with some people getting and others not, hence why some people are at other clubs ala Chepstow. So Derek I have told the truth are u goin to reveal who you are obviously from Caldicot
