With the two newcomers Undy & Bridgend Street both paying money out and with Pontypridd & Llanwern also paying players it will be very interesting to see how their seasons play out.
Any news on any other teams in Div 3 paying ?
Is our league becoming "semi-pro" ?
Facilities should be at the top of everyones agenda !!!!

Tell me why are you so interested about players expenses and why not ask about the other divisions?

fairplay,
Div 1 & 2 clubs I expect "expenses" to be paid out.Its the norm.
Everyone knows that happens at those levels.

Where did that come from ?
I was only asking as a general comment it seems that this season there is a lot of money floating around in the lower regions of the WL,something that has not really happened in previous seasons.
When was the last time that proven WL 1 players were attracted to WL 3 Clubs ? That doesnt happen every season.
Yes,clubs paying the "out of pocket expenses" every season is different to enticing players who could pick up larger amounts at WL 1 clubs but are playing for WL 3 teams this year.
With the country seemingly being in a bit of a recession still it seems odd that money seems to be talking this year in the WL.

I know of a couple who dont pay, including a club where they still have to pay cons to play!

Guest247 , i spoke to the Llanwern Secretary yesterday down at a local friendly and told him about your post on this site concerning his club paying players this season, he nearly chocked on his crisps. We have never paid players and never will , infact the players all pay subs and their own bookings and sending offs was his stern retort , i made a sharp exit over to the other side of the pitch and i dont think he was bluffing me .

Not as many Div 2 teams pay as you make out! We don't!
