Lets be honest here, every club in the Welsh Lge that stands up and says we dont pay the players and that players play "for the love of the club" is talking utter bollocks. clubs pay according to their stature or fund raisng abilities end off.
It always has been and always will be , its a fact of life either get off ure arses and fund raise or .... get left behind its 2011 not 1958 .....

i understand your comment but i have been offered money all my career and i would say 70% of the boys i play with at present could go get payed a decent wage but choose not to.. so money isnt always the way im afraid..

Huw I think you may want to have a look at your last comment. We most certainly do not all pay our players. Some of us barely survive paying for referees, team food and trainging facilities.
I can tell you categorically that my club do not pay anything to anyone and I can 1000% guarantee that statement - and there are many others who don't either.
Do you really believe we all pay? If you do you are very naive!!

I'd like to point out that this is Wales and the chances of there being more than one Huw Jones is ...well quite high, despite the raucous songs at Porth about there being only one.... ;D
