Bridgend street 5 Cwmbran town 2 when I left not long before the end.My overall observations were that Bridgend street have a large squad and pace in abundance but they were very niggly with each other at the slightest deviation to detail and also a very negatiuve output from the dug out area throughout They won't have things their own way this season especially by arguing within and I'm saying this on the back of them winning easily!! Its still Ponty for the title in my eyes.Been, seen done

Croesy 1-1 Abercarn Utd
It wasn´t good. Late Doidge scramble saved face. There were a huge number of lads missing, but this shouldn´t have made this much difference.
Still the players have been pretty impressive thus far so I am looking forward to seeing a lot of them back and a strong win on Saturday at what will be a decent Pontyclun I think.
Just goes to show Gentlemen - nothing can be taken for granted and I for one hope this stops all this Croesy for the title pish I have been reading.

must agree with don wuanne's comments aberaman were made to look poor by a team 2 divisions below them, they played a very quick passing & moving game very entertaining.

I personally thought the Bridgend Street squad were very good. Plenty of pace and power certainly. One of their subs, Bishop (played a handful of games for us in WLD1), is particulalry good and scored a terrific goal.
I'm not too worried about the result as we were missing a couple of players through injury and unavailability. Plus, if BS can attract the likes of Ryan Shugar it shows they mean business.
