Harde one this but I am going with Sean Wharton, Goytre
Barring corruption won promotion from Div 3 as well as winning the Welsh League Cup from the 3rd Division!

how about the guys at monmouth who managed to win the league without spending any money or bringing in any "big names"?
it is a farce that goytre didn't get promotion but with players like the prosser brothers, dale clark, chris watkins and scott james in their side they should have walked that league.

And winning a Major trophy from Div 3 whilst maintaining a promotion push?

The Goytre management team should have WALKED that division with the players they had not just missed out on promotion ! Albeit at the disgrace of other teams.

...how can anyone look beyond Monmouth? Hardly a football hotbed, apparently all players from the town, regulary playing young players, , top scorers by a mile, fewest defeats, most wins.....oh ...and the most points! , saw them play a couple of times and they ripped some teasm apart including Goytre. Hats Off to some unsung mangers there!

Although it's true a final day mad result was a blow Goytre really blew it with so many red cards and suspensions. Poor discipline results from poor mangement. Anyone know how many red cards Monmouth got? I'll bet you it weren't many

just for the record... Monmouth were paying for the first seven games of the season but then that fell through. No players left, all have grown up together and have a great team spirit

..it may be pedantic Matt...and not really important but what you actually said was that Monmouth do pay, not did which would be more accurate and more in line with what 'facts that are right' said....
Whoever heard of facts that are not right ...but that's another story?
Ho hum
