The draft proposals for clubs playing at tier 2 appear to 'out there' for clubs to provide feedback on. This list admittedly was supplied by a Gog ( ), but we can assume it's the same for us lot down here: "...it's 18 pages and contains things like 250 lux lights, solid boarded ground fencing (no outside veiwing), segregated from other sports activities on site, hard standing, 60 seats plus 20 VIPs, 'B' licence manager and Youth manager, full youth setup all age groups, 'C' licence assistant, Child Protection, First Aid, Dressing Room needs, Public Address, Media, Hospitality, Stewards, standard declarations on Racial Policy, Supporters Charter, Fair Play, Community, Admission and Ground Rules and of course the Financial returns and plans, Stadium/Ground lease or title etc, etc - pretty much a cut down version of the full Domestic Licence, which is good because there will be less to do for the teams seeking promotion when the time comes...". Sounds like a lot, but i dare say many clubs have the various policies and charters in place, and of course youth systems. For me, the interesting points are the mentioning of lights, hard standing, ground enclosure and of course seats... This could be expensive - even with a WGI grant - if a club has none of these currently... I guess this is the criteria being bounced around for use in 2013? Thing is, some clubs at tier 2 now may not be by then

Would this be for all Welsh League divisions or just Div 1?

When are the Welsh FA and the WL Committee realise that "tier 2" in Wales is by most part made up from Clubs that are voluntarily run by local football fanatics who keep clubs running by self funding and not by multi national companies through sponsorship. The current criteria is tough enough as it is and I can understand that div 1 clubs should have lights etc... but to try to implement this in all 3 divisions would be virtually impossible for the majority of clubs at the moment without major grant funding by the Welsh FA and the like.

I would guess that this would only be for D1, but don't quote me on that. Like i said, the info was in a conversation about the Cymru Alliance.
Perhaps the WLC will have a criteria for D1 and a criteria for D2 and D3 after all...?
