You heard it here first..... Gareth Morgan will be named as the successor to Gavin Chesterfield as manager of Barry Town FC. His management side is yet to be confirmed.
Gareth will offically be revealed this Thursday once he has spoken with his current players.
Gareth is currently manager of Croesyciliog in the welsh league division 2. He has done an excellent job since taking over at the helm in the summer of 2009 - especially by winning the Welsh League Cup in May against Welsh League Champions Goytre Utd.

Has he got 15k then? Or was that just a dodgy rumour?
Good luck to Gareth, as you say, he did a good job at Croesy.

Dear All,
Due to the fact that my mobile phone has not stopped for the past 48 hours as a result of this rumor doing the rounds, especially since this was posted on this board today, I feel it is important that the record be set straight.
There is absolutely no truth in the rumor that I am taking over at Barry Town, nor have I applied for the job or spoken to anyone from them. I have a job already and I work with a great group of players that I have great belief in.
Barry is a great club, the biggest in the Country in many ways, who have just lost a Manager that in my opinion is one of the very best around. They have a great squad so I am sure they will attract a far more experienced and capable Manager than me in the very near future.
I do know where this rumor comes from and I am sure they will find this response highly ammusing. I can only assume it is because my team faces theirs in an all important fixture in a few weeks time and they feel that they need to "stir it up" a bit in the build up.

Thanks for coming on here Gareth and clearing that up. It's a shame some feel the need to do this sort of thing. I hope Croesy beat this person's team...and from a Crows fan, that's daying a lot

i laughed at this because i knew it wasn't true, but making up rumours like that is a bit of a cunty thing to do.
