Our club are looking to put on a Sportsman's Evening.
Obviously, many clubs have done this.
Who do you recomend and who should we stay clear of?
Any help would be appreciated.

Westwalain couldnt possibly tell you who NOT to have !! but would recommend Paul Merson very good, Mickey Thomas brilliant we are having Chris Kamara in april 2011.
Lots hard work needs 10 months planning venue,menu,auction, charity, but very rewarding.

Hi Both,
How do you go about organising one of these events, with respect to booking the speaker.
Is there a specific website/agent that you people use or is there a means to contact them direct?

Hi Mike,
You can go through an agency but they add on their cut, Ive got Mickey Thomas,Joey Jones, Paul Mersons numbers its word of mouth really as long as the Taxman aint looking Cough,Cough.
Im sure lot Secs, chairman have numbers or access to freind of freinds etc,
