"PRE-SEASON AT THE OLD ROAD! The Reds host League Cup Winners Penydarren(27th) and a Swansea City XI (August 6th) in their two friendlies at the Old Road. Both games will be 'pay what you want' on the gate with all proceeds in aid of the rehabilatation of Reserve team manager Jonathan 'Bushy' Davies. Huge thanks to all the players who have donated at the club so far and anyone who wants to help can donate at Bar Red to try and get as much funds as we can for a great man on his road to recovery!"

"REDS IN GOOD FRIENDLY WIN! The first game at the Old Road this season saw an entertaining and competitive friendly with the Reds defeating last seasons league cup winners Penydarren 7-3. Goals were scored by Steve Davey 3, Gareth Jones 2, Declan Evans and Cam Harris. A massive thanks to everyone who came and donated for Bushy, for those who couldn’t we again have a ‘pay what you want’ entrance next Tuesday 7.30pm for the friendly against a Swansea XI with proceeds again going for Joni."
