When will we know who is playing in what league and when will the fixtures be out.

I thought we knew that now.
3 up from D2, all got the criteria.
Bottom 2 down from D1 along with Port Talbot who didn’t get the criteria.
Penybont up to the Prem, Llanelli down.
2 up/ down between D3/D3

Apparently for his season they will filter into the North as they normally would, so not a threat to South Wales.

How are you all coping with the new COMET system? us match officials have had no offer of a training programme or a registration yet but if we do not register by july 1st our registration fee will increase

It’s pretty straightforward if you are IT literate. Those less confident with computers will take a bit longer to get used to it, but it’s not especially hard. It’s a bit of a fuss as there are still registration forms that people need to sign (either printed out or on a phone/tablet) and everyone has to have a photo to upload and add to the registration.
In all it’s long overdue and is a much better registration system.
The FAW have a new team in place who will manage all registrations, so no more relying on a league Sec to do it (some are better than others). They are guaranteeing player registration within 48hrs, but they fully expect to have anyone submitted by 5pm on Friday available for Saturday as we currently do.
There’s not a lot for match officials to do on it, but you will need to use it. I’ll dig through the guides later tonight and if I can find one showing what match officials need to do I’ll let you know.

Thanks very much. was told 2 weeks ago our registrations would be out in a fortnight but nothing yet. We normally register with our area association but the area now refer us to COMET which is yet to appear

Sorry stranger, there’s nothing in the stuff I’ve been sent about match officials. Hope they sort it soon or we’ll have no referees.

as if by magic emails from the faw today saying match officials registration is to start soon but no exact date. Just hope its before any friendlies start or we won't be able to officiate as not insured till registered

Teams in the championship south are as follows Afan Lido Ammanford Briton Ferry Caerau (Ely) Cambrian and Clydach Cwmbran Celtic Cwmamman United Goytre United Haverfordwest County Llanelli Town Llantwit Major Pontypridd Town STM Sports Swansea Uni Taffs Well Undy Athletic Fixtures will be made public on 28th June Clubs will get them sooner obviously. |
