This is a joke as they now play in Aberdare. Surely the idea of a club is to play out of you're town or village. Have pontypridd cricket and rugby moved.I believe not. I personally think every club should sign a petition against it as the Welsh fa continually change the goal posts for them . We could get into a position where clubs have no second teams to give youngsters a grounding as every other club sharing grounds. Congrats to penydarren, trefelin ,Swansea university STM and penybont .

Not to be confused with Pontypridd FC who play in the town and are proud to be a community club and still wear the proper kit.

The rules are the rules, until the committee decides they want to do something else. Football is corrupt, not just the WFL, but everywhere.

Must make fixture arrangements difficult with teams sharing and in different divisions or leagues.

Not really any more difficult then a club that has a 1st team and a Reserve team, both in different leagues.

Of course it's more difficult when you have 4 sides all playing from the same same ground. Portskewett man is quite right in his posting. Pontypridd have been allowed to get away with murder this season and an embarrassment for the Elsh League.

Good to see WL helping teams out rather than making things difficult, not sure there are 4 senior male teams playing out of Aberdare, not aware either Aberdare or Ponty have reserves. Situation helps Ponty and probably Aberdare financially bar receipts, possibly / probably paying for pitch etc.
Seems good for both to me, perhaps other sides should be looking to "groundshare" permanently, shared running costs, better facilities etc. Seems good enough for Milan sides but not Cwmbran and Cwmbran Celtic as an example or perhaps AFC Porth and Ton Pentre, Caerau Ely and Ely Rangers etc etc

I don’t understand the issue here. Ponty shared their ground for years before moving to Leckwith. Why is sharing with Aberdare different ?

I tend to agree that Pontypridd have got in through the back door. What have they invested into their own ground and area to get tier 2 ? The answer is zilch while other clubs have had many sleepless nights worrying about how they will manage it. All they’ve done is pimp themselves around south wales . They would be better off changing their name to a sponsor to save themselves and the area of Ponty from the embarrassment. I agree that they have been allowed to get away with manslaugter. They’ve hopped around screwing up the fixtures lists for us other clubs left right and centre.

Now looking for another manager
I wonder how much tier 2 survival cost them but must be easier when you dont have to spend a fortune on ground improvements.
