Those that failed inc. Port Talbot and STM have 10 days to appeal. 43 into 32 doesn’t go. 1 or 2 are WL Div 2 clubs who may not get into the promotion places anyway.

Looks like the mid Wales teams will have to come south
12 non relegated teams from div 1. Llanelli Swansea United 2 x mid wales
That would be my guess

Reading on twitter that Mid Wales teams will be subject to the usual promotion to North Wales this summer so WL won’t be affected. That actually makes some sense which is unusual.

The 3 mid wales teams will more than likely play in the north as all 3 of the have before played in the cymru alliance.

As I understand it, going forward, previous affiliations will not be a consideration, and teams may switch between north and south based on the composition of Tier 2 in any given year as the line would be drawn annually after all promotions and relegations between Tiers 1/2/3/etc are finalised - i.e. two teams from the north get relegated from the WPL might mean Penrhyncoch gets pushed south, but the year after they could be pushed back up if two teams from the south get relegated. I hope unclefester's point is right and that they stick to the usual promotion/relegation between Tiers 2/3 until after the new Tier 3 is established in 2020/21.

Will Ton Pentre be saved again, if PT, STM and Goytre appeals fail ?

Considering Ton's well known problems do they want to be saved again? The surprise for me was Bangor getting the licence. They must have sorted their finances and got their books in order and up to date PDQ.

This is something I saw on twitter, the person posting was insistent that they had been told this. No reason to disbelieve them but I hadn’t heard this previously. To be honest this would be the most sensible approach.

"surely aberdare should have been on that list". There's a whole load more to the Tier 2 criteria than ground requirements alone. Firstly, Aberdare would probably have not applied for Tier 2 given their league position (they weren't pushing at the promotion end). Secondly, Tier 2 criteria involves Financial set up & records, coaching badges, safeguarding requirements, media training, competence of club officials etc

Exactly Pontypridd have had their aplication granted on Aberdare Ground yet they didn’t even know they were playing there when they applied and Aberdare didn’t app,y this year so how come Pontypridd have been successful stinks me thinks.

Creating a post seems to be an extremely difficult thing to do !!!!! If anybody can read this post all I wanted to say was what fun we have had this season and now we have won the League Title which for a little club from East Cardiff that has only been in existent for 14 years is just incredible - what a great bunch of boys - and before anybody says a word the ground is 100% under control.
