Maybe this is a stupid (I know this is a stupid question) but as we enter the final couple of weeks of the season, do we know what is happening next season, e.g. numbers of clubs being relegated,number of mid-wales clubs within the league etc etc

I guess it would need to be before the WL AGM though as clubs getting into the Championship South wouldn’t need to attend.

There are bound to be a number of clubs who will be brassed off with not getting in. The FAW have already started playing games by allowing 17 teams in the Championship North and putting Colwyn Bay straight in at that level.
If the FAW can't even start the league properly how much faith can clubs have in who they will select.

I wonder if Llanelli have applied for a Tier 2 licence. No doubt that will be fudged. I was having a look at the additional Tier 2 criteria regarding personnel, they are really pushing up the required standards for that too.

We are building a stand on the far side of the ground. Dugouts have been moved to the clubhouse side.

It's 1 row all around the ground haha, but yeah, we will meet the new criteria, i am told. So as long as we finish in top 8, we should be in the championship next season, but who knows, could just be a draw out of a hat for all we know

I would be nice if they told everyone the criteria they intend to use. Ground criteria we know, so clubs must have that, but how is “Sporting Achievement” measured ? Is 5th in a Mid-Wales league equal to 5th in WL D1 or Huws Gray Alliance ? Is cup success included ? What does it mean ?

5th in Mid Wales First Division is equal on paper to 5th in Welsh League 2nd Division. On Grass it is probably equal to Top 5 of Welsh League 3rd. I have watched 2 of the MWL teams who have applied this season and they will struggle big time in the new format if selected.
