if the rumours are right and FAW insist on cutting the league to 16 per division this could have the biggest repercussions in Welsh Footballs history.
Is 16 teams for the good of football and all the people involved.I doubt it as the FA don't appear to be pressing for it in England. Will Welsh football standards improve because we have 16 teams per division. I very much doubt it.
Every team has a right to protect it's own interests and Mondays meeting I understand demonstrated the strength of feeling on the issue.
If the FAW pursue this line they deserve to be charged with bringing the game into disrepute

If a decision has been made, surely clubs should be informed electronically today, or is that asking too much?

a disgrace. Gutless clubs last year turn into even more gutless this. The Committee totally out of their depth showing no leadership and failing to persuade anyone last year of why it was the right thing to do and even worse this failing to persuade anyone it was the wrong thing to do.
A lot of clubs worked very had to avoid relegation and stay in the league/division. Now we may have to do it all over again.
Relegated clubs should hang their heads in shame. The WL 'leadership' should resign and we should rebuild a smaller, better management structure based on what you can bring to the party not on where you happen to live and how long you have been a bureaucrat.
have you noticed how many of the clubs 'served' by these guys are enjoying unrivalled success....go on think about it.

Have you noticed ever since the sunday pub sides pontyclun and risca squirmed there way out of relagation and paid a barrister to get them out of the mire that both clubs have gone very quiet, thought so caused mayhem and now are quiet as a mouse. shocking

I understand FAW have found new sponsor to replace Nationwide- The Comedy Channel.
A spokesman for the Comedy Channel said" We feel Welsh Football fits in nicely with our corporate image".
Now back to reality. Can the people at the top of Welsh Football get real and support all the people on the ground who are working hard to keep clubs in existence. This has the look and smell of the "Exiles" debacle all over again

'Football Fan' and 'Bill' (who are probably the same person) - If you want people to take you seriously, put your proper name. No point in having a go at those 2 clubs, they have done nothing wrong, its the Welsh League Committee you should be slating, they are ones who caused the mess!
So, come on a bit of fair play

Blimey, so we are still probably 7-10 days away from knowing the league composition, Huw?
First, an announcement from the FAW, then the response from the WL Committee/WL clubs?
There is one obvious solution now surely (assuming everyone wants the league to KO ASAP):
The FAW backs-down for 2010-11 with the proviso that the changes will definitely be brought in for 2011-12.
The FAW must commit to helping the WL committee to inspect all the clubs/their grounds and allow clubs a sensible timescale to conform.

my name is william jackson I follow Ton Pentre, no and Im not the other guy called football fan Im Bill on this forum as it is an abreivated version of William in case you didnt realise!!!!
And you obviously being a follower of one of the two mentioned Pub teams should just accept that your teams / clubs got relegated fair and square as we did. You got off with your appeals on technicalities!!!!!! And yes you are f****ing the league up for everyone else.

Not a technicality - you obviously havent read the document! You are just another tosspot who knows nothing about the game, probably never even played football!
Go and do something productive, like publishing some fantasy novels, as you clearly have a fantastic imagination!
Sad sad puppy in my book

Crows a decision hopefully soon monday/Tues ?, but the clubs must have seven days notice of a meeting, I presume the WLeague must have the decision in writing or at least e mail, fax , but i wonder is this decision binding if it comes back 16,16,18 are we going through it all again??
