Who the hell are Pontypridd FC and what league are they in haha? Ponty town reserves who have 're-branded' and trying to capitalise on their inability to get promoted out of TERV's basement and the unrest around Ponty's move to Leckwith. Apart from the Leckwith bit, this is the exact the reason they gave for forming a new club, i.e. they couldn’t be promoted as a 2nd team. |

Played in the TERV league for years, against you and quite familiar with the side there last year and this year, not having a diss but it's quite clear you making a big song and dance around something that isn't exactly what you're making it out to be. You finished quite well in Div 1 last year which has given you guys food to thought around promotion no doubt this year, which was impossible previously under Ponty Town FC reserves/dev. You've seen an opportunity with the move of Ponty and the discontent around it to drum up a fanbase and following by changing your name and making out your the people team rising like a phoenix from the flames, when really are you any different to the original Ponty Town who have done what they had to to cater for promotion??  Like i said, completely get why you've done it and all the best this season in trying to reach TERV Prem, but no need to try and create so much media hype around it when it's not really the full picture is it. |
