I remember Taffs Well having an excellent youth team a few years ago, they lost to Llanelli in Youth Cup Final at Penybont, then beat Carmarthen Town in same final a year later (won League I think in same year). Flicking through various twitter accounts, it is good to see so many of that team playing in Welsh League / WPL next season:-
Barry Town United Luke Cooper, Chris Hugh, Louie Gerrard, Macus Jones, Clayton Green
Taffs Well Arron Garrett
Caerau ely Dean Clifford, Lewis Hydes
Any one else know of players from that Youth Team, still playing in Welsh Pyramid system.

Interesting to me this is that’s all. Someone lights up a fag at an STM Sports game we get a 5 page war of a thread on here. History repeats itself over & over at this particular Club (LB aside) and nothing said 🤷🏻♂️ Players are departing already according to their personal Twitter feeds this is a very fair point! loads of people jump on clubs that seem to be trying to better themselves or strive to improve...taffs (we'll never get promoted or do anything other than win the league cup) well get no discussion? why has he been sacked? wasn't he sacked from caerau ely recently? surely it must be a clash of personalities for him to go before season even starts! then again they massively underperformed again last year! i hope staffs kick on but can't see it. but i will say, prob a good call sacking someone that took a title winning squad to relegation in two years |

To be fair, he didn't take a title winning squad to relegation in 2 years. The title winning squad in the main were offered more money at fellow WL clubs and 5 moved on to WPL clubs. So there was possibly 3/4 of title winning squad at Caerau Ely, that were relegated
