Well if the rumour is true Ely Rangers or Neuadd Wen could be in luck, Ely could dodge the bullet once again. Not sure when a team needs to declare that they are folding but wouldn’t surprise me given how many teams are struggling with this FAW criteria rubbish. Maybe they are jumping before they are pushed!

Unsure as only heard through a friend who also refs in Gwent league. looking at the amount of Gwent teams joining forces wouldn’t surprise me if one of the Gwent teams. Panteg, Newport city, Chepstow, Trethomas, Treowen. Again just guessing, will probably hear more over coming weeks if true. If it is Newport city or Trethomas though sure there will be teams itching to jump on those pitches if available.

The field was awful very bumpy and it was hot out there but we were clinical where it counted. How there allows in the league with that field being so far from the crumbling dressing rooms is a mystery. How would an ambulance get to that field I don’t know

Thankyou Danny it was our final league game and we went out in style but disappointed to concede a goal. There’s 3 big games left for us and only one of them include us which is the cup final on Friday. The other 2!is tomoww against Pontyclun and Thursday against Swansea University both games Bridgend st have to win its shit or bust for them in 2!hard games. I fancy Pontyclun to do us a favour and end it all tomorrow. Failing that SU will tear them a new arsehole on Thursday. They say the table never lies but if somehow they finish above us it will throw that saying into the bin. As you saw tonight we play attractive football and not long hit and hope rubbish

I think you will be promoted as I can’t see Bridgend Street beating both Pontyclun and Swansea University. I do feel sorry for my friends at Bridgend Street as they seem destined to be the bridesmaid rather than the bride yet again. Not going to be easy for them next season either with Penydarren coming in and looking like they will stroll Division 3
