Llanelli 0 v 1 Undy AFC
A great day out for Undy and gaining a well deserved win against Llanelli. Very refreshing to prove that you don't need lots of money to produce good football and positive results. Good luck to Llanelli in their quest for Premier league football.

Cracking result, massive scalp Llanelli at their place, well done Undy I cannot remember Llanelli not scoring at home, you would have to look back probably more than a year, maybe one of the Llanelli faithful could enlighten us? As its a freezing boring Sunday Morning I just researched it myself, I think it was :Tuesday 15th March 2016 WFL2-Llanelli Town 0-0 Cwmamman United. So well done Undy contained them from scoring at home the first time for just under 2 years Great site has historical Welsh League results for all divisions from season 2011/2012 upwards www.nonleaguematters.co.uk/divisions/95/5/

not entirely sure what the welsh leagues obsession with not paying is? Not getting paid or being able to pay is not something to be proud of. Trundle and co should be paid as they are the best in the league in my opinion. If you do a good job- you get rewarded. simples. I hope the undy lads are getting a little something for their troubles, or they'll all end up jumping ship like the west end team did a few years ago. I for one want to see the welsh league be professional or atleast semi professional (Barry, Llanelli, Carmarthen etc are clubs to be proud of) - it would be great to see our domestic clubs competing at a higher level and that will take money and the best playing surfaces for players. So to the likes of Porth etc who act like a parks team and keep groaning on about picking only local lads, not paying players blah blah blah - Go and play local league if you want to be amateur. Theres no place for small town mentality anymore

It's not an obsession, just stating that I think it's great that a group of players have bought into what's happening at Undy. The nucleus has now been with the club for several years,8 players from the junior section and gone up through the leagues. Players have come and gone as we have progressed but none have left for money. What I am proud of is the loyalty these players have shown to Undy afc and not the £15/20 or more they might get playing elsewhere. I might be wrong but I think they appreciate what the club is trying to achieve.

That's what it's About! Enjoying it, getting a little bit for your expenses and buying in to a vision!
Lots of clubs you see year after year playing on cabbage patches and paying bucks to secure a mid table finish. Make you wonder what they say to players... Esp3cially when the money dries up when relegation is no longer a threat!!!

Someone tell Taffs well that players are now looking for professionalism, not a cap wearing mentalist who pays you £100 a week to be abused by your own management team (with no hopes of ever getting promoted to the prem!)
