While Goyt Bumkins from rural Mon have come under the microscope for falling away badly in the title race.......what's gone wrong down at the Goyt Stables in Punt Talbet? Some big horses galloped out of the Goyt stables last week - Rameer Outlaw to Caerau Ely and Jamal Roberts to Taffs unwell while there was the anticipated return of Chay Davies to Caerau. Sounds like a classic case of midwinter slashing of brown envelopes being reflected in a sinking feeling at the dead end of Punt Talbet. After a great start to the season at the Goyt stables, they've stumbled badly and are now back-markers.
