Am I the only one that's suddenly noticed that the Welsh Football League has come screaming into the wonderful world of Twitter? A new Welsh Football League Twitter account has been opened this month. But it begs the question is it OFFICIAL Welsh Football League or some guys starting it up and pretending to be official? Whether its official or not, they are using the Welsh Football League logo. Come to think about it, why haven't the Welsh League had a Twitter account anyway bringing us football fans all the latest news from the clubs instead of the dreadful website that's as difficult to navigate as a penny farthing.

Yes a 3 man delegation of Welsh League officials who also just happen to be on the Faw went on an intense 2 week all expenses course in Bang-Cock on how to use Twitter. The follow up course is planned for De Wallen in Amsterdam followed by a refresher in Caldiclit Town”s car park.

Well it was well worth the investment as Welsh League Football Twitter account is now tweeting like a parrot.

They love a good old parrot in Bang-Cock. Or is it another type of bird ? Birds are cheap as chips in Bang-Cock so the “sundries” expenses won’t be as high as Amsterdam

In the biography on the account it states that it is “unofficial” and “non-affiliated”. The account should not really be using the league badge.

I don't think the words unofficial were on there when I first spotted this Welsh Football League twitter account. But like you say Uncle Fester he shouldn't have the official Welsh League trademark on there as at first sight you think it is official. No doubt the Welsh League boffins will discuss it during their next chingwag....thought the league results service guy wouldn't go down this road, as he's a determined advocate of "letting sleeping dogs lie". All that the account is doing though is regergitating info off Welsh League clubs individual Twitter accounts. A southern rival perhaps to our beloved Clwb Pel Droed chums in Gogland?

Rumour has it that someone has just installed a US Robotics 2400bps dial up modem in the Welsh League offices on the weekend in order to bring their Commodore Amiga 500 online!
Twitter to follow in 2027

The Welsh League Twitter account now has "unofficial" in its title............and badge is now a dragon as opposed to the Welsh League logo. Not rocket science to work out they must have read this thread.
