Monmouth Town’s Kingfishers are on the hunt for new (currently unattached) members of the playing and management team.
The historic border Town’s outfit are searching for a reserve team manager and someone to mentor their under-19 squad this season.
Chairman Lee Robson explained “These are ideal positions for someone looking to cut their teeth in management and coaching. Our coaching team boasts some well-qualified coaches and we’re continuing to try and improve the set up all around the club. Everyone who’s been here knows we‘ve got great facilities and a progressive attitude to football and to youth development. We’ve love to hear from anyone who shares our outlook and ambition. We’re particular interested in someone who can take on a player management role at reserve team level.”
The club can be contacted by calling Director of Football Barry Burns on 07535 613502.

How come Monmouth are not in the Gwent Senior Cup this season? Seems harsh not to include you since you progressed two rounds

The Gwent FA in their wisdom not only decided to cancel the cup last season thereby immediately underming it but decidd this year to only invite top seven clubs plus theholders (Newport Civil) No consultation ....very peeved but havent let them know that...they probaby just found out. We may not even meet in the league this season

The Gwent FA are almost as "good" as the WL!! Shame really because i think there are enough Gwent clubs in the WL to make it a really interesting competition. We've switched our tie with County to a home game. Hopefully they'll be too busy to send their Conference side!! Don't take this the wrong way - cos i was looking forward to our league clashes - but i'll be pleased if we don't meet in the league this season! Maybe the League Cup though?
