Must be more than just losing 1 player to be falling away so badly ? He's a top goal scorer but they seem to be conceding so many. Maybe my beloved Liverpool have loaned them a few of our Goalkeeping and defensive coaches

Macdonald only just exited so their downfall can't be directed at him. I'm told (don't know him) but the Goyt Bumkins chairman is a decent chap, but the club is generally loathe on the first-division scene.Hope Abergavenny overtake them in the not too distant future as they are a real football club and not a bunch of upstarts who will hopefully go back to where they came from. They cast a dark shadow over the league with their dodgy dealings but after 15 months in the stocks I'll go along with the "funnyhaha" chappie and release them from public humiliation.

I have watched them a few times this season and from what I saw I would say, they were always going to struggle, they have a few who are on the large side, fitness doesn’t seem great, I know leek had a bad injury and is only just returning and I also think they have a few older players in the squad who are past it. Personally it’s a club I have had positive experiences with and I hope they are able to turn it around however I think it could be a difficult few years for them

Cwmbran Celtic 4 v 1 Goytre They are not just losing every game but shipping goals every game. Seems to me it's not just a couple of players leaving , bigger problem methinks ?

Goytre 0 v Cwmbran Celtic 10
What an embarrassment, just goes to show the bad side to trying to buy success. It clearly is not the way to build a successful club and things have clearly gone sour at Goytre. I think the whole village as left never mind a few mercenaries !

Something has seriously gone wrong down Plough Lane, only 4pts since Christmas. A 1 for 14 against aggregate score v Cwmbran Celtic. They are probably winning the postponement league though. Interesting to see how the ground share pans out next season.
