Happy New Year everyone - here's to more fun in 2018. Sorry to disappoint all you folk who are drooling over the Caerau floodlights.....they are going to St Fagans Museum. Kids can then see the lights that left Merse in the dark.

I have sympathy for everyone involved really, as most of us have been on the giving and receiving side of a short notice postponement.
I've turned up at countless grounds a few hours before a game thinking "Yeah, this will be on - no problems", only for the ref to postpone it 20 mins before kick off. Likewise I've turned up at our home ground at 4pm for a night game thinking "Absolutely no chance of any football, I don't even know why I'm bothering putting the nets up" only for the ref to let the game go ahead and the players spend 90 mins working on their breast stroke in some of the bigger puddles.
