Good result for Undy yesterday, just showing what they can do with a full team out and reversing the 8-1 defeat at the start of the season when so many players missing Players making a point yesterday and pride regained at The Causeway. Well done to all players !

Penybont started so well... Seem to have dropped off recently? Out of the cups, behind in the league standings at the minute and players leaving?

Oh dear. Rumblings of discontent from a certain few at Penygriff .To the neutral the league standings says they’re doing ok but their hefty players budget and target expectations aren’t coming together with results. I’d love to see Penygriff join us in the Prem but it’s not going to happen with the current mentality and playing personnel. I’ve been reliably informed that Saturday’s loss at Undy Athletic was poor and even though it was a very late winner for the villagers it was totally deserved and the writing was always on the wall. Schoolboy defending not for the first time this season. Looking at Cheatre’s games in hand and Penygriff’s results against the better teams it looks like top six is the most realistic outcome even though their budget would expect them to be sitting very pretty and getting ready for frequent S4C exposure next season. It’s been suggested that there an unattractive and unenjoyable club to play for ?

Voggie there's more chance of you going to Gwent on holiday than Penybont getting in Welsh Prem. They've got a 100-seater stand for goodness sake and that ain't good enough to comply with level 2 FAW Domestic Licence. Club lacks true ambition as the town of Bridgend has feared the Welsh Prem since it was introduced a quarter of a century ago. More chance of Goyt Country Bumkins getting in Welsh Prem than Penybont. A frightening thought I know. The 3-2 loss at Undy Pants had a lot to do with Kane Owen conceding a 44th-min pen...........and getting a red card. Penybont were 2-1 down at h-t; levelled on 2-2 with just 10 men only to concede a 90th-min winner. Not clever performance I know, but in circumstances not too bad. Last season manager Griffiths + Warlow sent off in 4-0 loss at Undy. Given that then it was an improvement! Players leaving Bont? Flay gone back to Mon + Gethin Jones past his sell-by-date while they've brought in ex-Cardiff City man Tyler Roche. Hardly an exodus 2 out and 1 in surely? Penybont will muddle along as a top-6 club in div one, but as Swans proved this week in Prem Lge if you are content with your lot and idle it will come back + bite you in the backside
