lol, double still on - 4 games into the season and in the first round proper.
Good ambition, fair play!

Caerau lost 5-1 to Merthyr Town this afternoon. Caerau never really got going in the first half and it was a bit of a containment excercise, going into the break 1 - 0 down. From the kick off a defensive error saw the goal of the game, a 28 yd strike which rifled into the away side net, 2 - 0. Caerau kept plugging and were rewarded when Corey Davies was through on goal and foung the back of the net with a slight deflection, 2 - 1. Merthyr was then awarded a penalty which was converted 3 - 1. another Merthyr attack saw a speculative long range effort fooled the away keeper who thought the ball was going just wide, only to sneak in at the post, 4 - 1. After a few subtitutions Caerau seemed to lose some shape and conceded yet another, 5 - 1. A dissapointing loss to a young Merthyr side, but the hospitality was first class and £1.50 a pint the supporters were mangled.

I'm sure a few other teams would be happy with a similar start to the season.

mishman.. without being disrespectful to anyone, you have had EASY start looking at the league and the teams you have played besides ponty and uwic and you didnt win either of them is my point..

Before a ball was kicked, two local derbies and two well established sides didn't look like an EASY start to me.

A long season ahead but theres no such thing as an easy start especially when its their first crack in this league.I hear the game at YP was awesome and before they had their man sent off they were well in the ascendency. We all know what can happen in cup football and maybe it might work to their advantage.I still have my money on Ponty due to the been there seen there stuff

Another EASY game v Undy lol. Very good team a draw would have been about right but we nicked it at the death.
