Am wondering how some clubs can play certain players but not others?? Its ok for the players receiving the money but what about the players who arent getting anything. Are they aware some getting payed? How do they feel about it? For example Bridgend Street who seen to have taken ownership of this site now from Cwmbran Town, as they are obviously paying Messrs Shugars, Summers and White. But what about the players who got them promoted. Rumours that Caerau Ely only pay certain players. Have also heard that Cardiff Corries the bastians of amatuership have offered a couple of players money in a bid to attract them. How would other long serving members of the club feel if they found out?!!! Appreciate clubs paying differing amounts based on experience and other parameters but paying some and not others makes me wonder about clubmanship. Any thougths?

This proberly isnt a Bridgend Street thing, its proberly a Garry Procter thing, i know for a fact he did the same thing when he was at cwmbran town. So it comes as no surprise to me. I wouldnt be surprized if the only ones that know about the money are the ones getting it slipped in there pockets.

I really think its what the club believes is best for the club , if they pay quality players to come in and help the team progress then so be it . But sugars and summers could still earn money in welsh league div 1 so therefore , why not pay them , they have the expiriance and quality needed to drive bridgend st straight out of div 3 , i doubht very much shugs would of went to any other div 3 club because i believe he used to play for bridgend st, so take advantage of it i say. People should appriciate the fact that bridgend street have brought so much excitment to div 3 that divisions been dead in the water for way to long . People might take more interest in it now , which can only be good.

Get a life bilko and stop posting crap on here. Your an average parks player and you wouldnt lace sugars or summers boots, Take a look at chris summers cv and compare them to your sunday parks league team medals, Enough said.

This board is crossing the line now, where is the webmaster to delete this crap? We had to remove a guestbook from our website by request/threat of action for far worse. People seem free to anonymously post whatever they want like graffiti on a bog wall. As a club we've been at the centre of most of it but for the record ALL our players pay subs and for their own t-shirts/tracksuits too. I know Ryan is quite upset at the rumour mill and has simply rejoined his former club to play alongside his best mate Ross Powell. Jeff has laughed off the payment rumours and if Chris puts pen to paper as looks likely he will be treated the same as everyone else.

Mr Chairman unfortunately with its anonimity anyone can post anything happened me last week someone stirring it. Ignore it anyone with an ounce sense knows whats going on its just sour grapes. Perhaps its time for registerd posters only where IP adresses can be traced ??

Chairman let's shut up and calling the odds. You're happy to push you're club and the fact that you're in the welsh league. I personally know 2 of the above quoted players and I know and they have told me that they are getting paid. Want me to quote exactly what they are getting?!!! Take it on the chin and just say yes you are paying. But only messrs summers, White and shugars!!!!

Mr chairman so are we saying that we don't pay amy money? Yet 1st division weslh league players turn down money just to play for the street? So a certain striker 40 a game but a diehard such as Dale nothing ?
Eveyone knows so I would have stayed quiet.

Just a quick message for "dj", You need to get some proof before you come on here accusing me of posting comments slagging off my own club! you obviously know me personally to know that i use this message board and if thats the case you should know that im one of shugars biggest fans and couldnt be more happy to see him back down the street! he's also a good mate, as for summers i dont know him and only time will tell on that one. As for being an average parks player! well, thats fine your entitled to your opinion. The problem i've really got now is that your obviously someone i see on a regular basis and should know that i do everything i can to help push the club forward, so the last thing i would want to do is come on here trying to bring my own club down. you obviously feel the best way to sort ur problems with me is to come on here and slag me off, i have an idea who u might be and if you got the balls to sort your problem out face to face then i'll be at the friendly saturday and will look forward to seeing you! Im sure Gary wont mind giving us a minute to chat!!!

i think the bridgend st chairman is spot on when he says that things are getting out of hand, the fact is that whatever division a player plays in it is possible he will get paid ry sugar and chris summers could have played at many clubs in most divisions but chose to play at bridgend st end of,they are both cardiff lads chris works in cardiff which makes training and travel a lot easier same goes for ryan, chris has a young family and sugs has one one the way. fact sugars turned down clubs to play at bridgend st cause he has good mates there and likes the club.if he is getting a few bob so what there are not many players of such quality around port talbot, goytre ,ton pentre, cambrian, cinderford all wanted to pay them so why should,nt bridgend st so lets leave the players and the club alone.
