Croesyceiliog 0 Barry town 2. Good game. Lots of quality from Barry town on a rough pitch. Croesy had chances but failed to put them away.

Typical Barry fan if that is how you sum the game up pal! Not going to mention just how many chances were made by Croesy then, or the missed penalty, or the fact that your penalty was a joke with not even slight contact?
I know it's only a friendly and Barry certainly did pass it well, but deary me you don't change do you!

Mate, I'm not a Barry fan. I was there as a neutral. I was impressed with Barry considering everything they have gone through. I did comment that croesy missed a lot of chances. You'll do well in div 2 I'm certain of that. I didn't mean to cause any offence at all.

vardon said he got 2 against rhoose, but they still lost lol Ponty need get the defenders on a clean sheet bonus, instead of strikers on a goal bonus then !!

Ton Pentre 3 Carmarthen Town 3 Ton Pentre scorers Kift, Colvin, Evans at Ynys Park Game 2 halves, admittedly after Ton made few changes HT, if you can stop Colvin you stop Ton, easier said than done, but after distracting his brother with the half time fag, I just might have hit on a plan ;D

Re your snide comments about Ponty, maybe you should keep it to yourself as it sounds like its coming from a jealous person which I am sure you are not. If any club breaks rules or treats other clubs with distain I believe they are open for criticism on this website.

well those comments came virtually straight from the horses mouth so to speak, he (vardon) said they were poor in defence and it was generally not a good performance and it seems conceding 4 would hold that up, no snidey comments made, just actual fact. Even being a pre-season game, if they are looking to challenge for the title which i'm sure is the idea then they should be beating teams from a lower league, as we did by giving albion a pasting

If you read it again it is refering to a money bonus and not saying how badly the team played. I could understand if the comment stuck to the fact which was that Rhoose beat a higher league club and give them praise for their excellent performance

Actually i was at the game and Ponty had a few players missing, Ponty controlled the game and Roose scored with 4 long balls, a few defensive errors.
Ponty are looking at defenders at the moment and are hoping to bring in 1 or 2 players and should be strong come Aug 13th!
Chris did score 2 and Richard Veale got the other.
