agree with above.
When Gary Proctor arrived at Cwmbran Town they were still high up the Welsh League division 1 table, having slipped from top spot. That season, as assistant manager, Proctor helped steer Cwmbran to a 15th place finish, beating relegation by a handful of points.
The next season Proctor was given the manager's role, where he managed the remarkable feat of putting together a team full of Amateur League players and subsequently getting relegated from Division 1.
He then took those same players back down to the level they belonged and lo and behold they won the league.
He also ruined Llanelli when he went there.
My favourite story about Gary Proctor is him walking into the changing room ahead of a pre season friendly with Newport Civil Service and telling the players "no more of this Gary sh*t, you call me gaffer from now on!"
Allegedly of course.

absolute rubbish regarding Proctor. Factually hr took a small few players from the senior league to Cwmbran and the reason was that there was no player budget to bring in top players. The players did their best but wasn't enough. He's now at Bridgend Street and the team he has there are full of pace goals and quality and will probably storm through the Welsh Leagues. Given what I know and the players linked with the club along with waht players they already have I can see them winning division 3 at a canter,

yep, robert fowler is an absolute menace. division 3 defenders will be worried, although local barn doors are apparently not too concerned.

It will be a tough Division this season with the two newcomers who both have strengthened.Undy had half the Caldicot Town side last season and have taken the pick of the rest of Caldicot Town for this season so in effect they have a Div 2 standard side at least.Bridgend Street have also strengthened in quality so both will be a threat this year. My money however will be on Pontypridd, Goytre as two definates and between Bridgend Street,Llanwern,Briton Ferry for third place. But as others have said, time will tell !!!!!!

Undy have signed Gareth Cullimore, but apparently they're not paying any money?
Pull the other one.

Its on the Welsh league website about Undy Athletic.
Good ground, good club....... they are in a good position for Welsh league football, hope they don't forget the boys who have been loyal to them for the past 6 or so years and built up a good side that won a tough Gwent County league.

I don't know them personally, but they're both recognisable around the Welsh League scene. We're hardly talking about unknown quantities here.
