Re Kenny Hill, were did you hear that Bridgend Street had received grant aid??? Would be interested to know, I think you will find no clubs are eligible for grant aid until they reach the second tier of Welsh Football i.e Welsh Football League or Cwmru Alliance??? Anyhow as point of interest I think you will find the Welsh League gave Kenfig Hill 13 days extra to implement facility upgrades from what I can see on the SWAL guestbook as the inspection took place only last Friday??? All grounds as per Welsh League website must be in place by April 30th, the very fact the ground was not inspected until the 13th of May means they got 13 days extra to have ground in place to required spec as per rule.

I can honestly say that i have never given the club Kenfig Hill one thought in my life (as I played in the Gwent County - nothing to do with the club in particular) but thanks to Kenny i already dislike them.
Kenny your doing your club no favours running your mouth off and are making yourself a target if you do indeed get promoted!

Kenny - the things you have come out with on this forum have highlighted exactly why KH should not be allowed into the Welsh League.
In my view, yes it damned well does matter if a temp portacabin is used not a permanent building. It matters a lot actually. You would be coming into the 4th highest division in the county with a view to going even higher than that. Heated or not. Curtains or not. Surely to god our standards as a league should be looking to Improve not decline - and allowing clubs to come into the league with portacabins - which by the way have poor shelf lives and are a recipe for disaster in 10 years time - would be a joke! It is attitudes like yours and phrases like "it's only the Welsh League, not the Premiership" that prove you don't have the mentality for it never mind anything else. There has been a "that will do" attitude for way too long in our league regarding all sorts of things so we need fewer not more like it!
You have NOT been stitched up. You haven't been even slightly stitched up. Not at all. The rules quite clearly state your ground must be ready by the 30th of April. Not the 1st of May, not the 2nd and certainly not the 13th, 14th and 15th! Aberaman missed the deadline for floodlights by about 10 days for Welsh Premier promotion 2 years ago and stood no chance on appeal because they clearly missed the deadline. What makes you different / special? Nothing my friend, nothing at all.
And coming on here naming clubs that in your opinion have poor grounds when they have said nothing at all to provoke you at all such as Treharris. We all know their ground - but you know what, at least it is all permanent up there not a portacabin that had you finished 2nd you would not have invested in.
And if you ever bother to do some research you will see that Bridgend Street have built a ground - a proper ground with permanent structures - and much of the work was done by the Committee and Players themselves - and I am nothing at all to do with that club.

And regarding my reference to the fact that you clearly missed the deadline that every club every season has had to adhere to for years and years?

I dont know the true ins and outs of all the fuss going around about Bridgend Street and Kenfig Hill but I would like to congratulate all at Bridgend Street for their promotion to the Welsh League.I had a quick look on their webiste and their facilities look good at least a better stand than many a current Welsh League Club have. So all the best to them and its unlucky to Kenfig Hill this time round but as we all know the WL Committee are a rule to themselves but if Bridgend Street won their League then there is no doubt that they deserve the promotion. Good luck and may come across you lot next season.

Kenny, I think I speak for most when I say that you are flogging a dead horse here! All the clubs knew the deadlines at the start of the season and I'm sure if you had actually carried out the work within the CLEAR deadlines and then another club who hadnt bothered were allowed to ignore the rules as you have, then your club would have something to say about it! Shoe being on the other foot and all! Just be a man and say well done to Bridgend Street, as they done what they needed to within the time frames that were supplied to EVERY applicant. Incentive for Kenfig is to go out next season and prove that it wasnt a fluke and win it again! By the way, all the grounds you mention above are still a lot better than Kenfig's ground, so take the blinkers off for a second and people will respect your opinions a lot more!

to my knowledge Bridgend streets ground was ready for last season but they missed the application by 2 days. Did they appeal or moan on here about it? no, they went and won the league again and now deserve there place in welsh league football. for the record i dont think there should be a play off anyway, Kenfig should also get promoted if the ground standards have been met so i'm not againsnt Kenfig Hill at all.

I heard a little rummor that the team down the road from you Cornelly united have much better facilities than you Kenfig Hill, they have uafa standard changing facilities, two Pitches better than your cabbage patch and have invested a lot over the past few years, they are only Port talbot Premier devision, you should be ashamed that they have better facilitys than you.javascript:add("%20;D")
